Letter to Aspire 2016

This is a message I wrote to the Aspire Academy 2016 participants, at the end of the program. While it’s a bit hard to understand its true meaning if you haven’t been at Aspire, I decided to post it here.

“Dear Aspirers,

As we are all returning to our “regular” lives I wanted to share a few words with you.

Firstly, a big Thank You. Words can’t properly describe the gratitude that me and my colleagues feel for having had the privilege to meet you. You are an amazing group of talented people!

Secondly, keep growing and never settle for less than your true potential. Continue to learn and be curious, dont stay in a bad job or a negative relationship. Life is too short to afford not to enjoy it. We all have our ups and downs, but try not to get influenced too much by external factors – you can’t fully control those. Focus more on your internal state: be reflective.

Last but not least, stay in touch with each other. The quality of your life is a reflection of the quality of the people you spend most of your time with. Choose wisely.

I have no doubt that you will all do amazing things. And if Aspire plays even a small role in this, we would consider that we’ve done a good job. Nevertheless, no matter how successful you will be, don’t become arrogant and don’t forget to give back. Stay humble.

With (Aspire) love,
Dani”
